Here we are preparing the sacks with treats and gifts. I'm really glad I brought the extra suitcase of toys and such even though I had to pay for the 2nd bag. Last year I didn't have to pay for the 2nd bag.

Julia (right) and her helper are working with the sacks. Julia is the youth pastor here. She is 30. I have more and more respect for her each day that I work with her.

Worship in the service. We sang with a guitar. The service was held in a convention center place that they rented.

Courtney shares her testimony. Julia interprets.

I was not on the agenda to share. When we had finished our part, the pastor said there was more time and they wanted something else. The Lord had laid on my heart to share about David's tractor accident in 1981. (I didn't know when they would ask, so when they needed something else, I was ready.) Here I'm sharing that testimony of how God is a miracle worker in our lives. The people were very receptive to this.

We went to one of the homes for lunch. There was meat on bread and cheese on bread. A dish of rice with a little chicken in it. Cabbage with a few peas. Tomatoes and cucumbers. My favorite: bread with a little chocolate on it. (Meat is minimal.)

Our transportation for this day.

The country side is green and lush. There was a hard rain as we were coming home. The city we went to was about 45 minutes away.
